CALIFORNIA58 NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS — NOVEMBER 6, 2026. In the published election returns for Los Molinos Unified School District, the Yes side leads on Measure G for Los Molinos Unified School District, a proposed $9.8 million bond to repair, expand and modernize public school buildings. The recorded tally is 479 Yes votes (70.13%) and 204 No (29.87%), a difference of 275 votes. These figures are reproduced from the currently available local-measure tally, checked November 6; they have not been independently verified as a newer November 6 canvass release.
What the proposal means
The district’s ballot question identifies work such as updating aged classrooms and restrooms, strengthening safety, improving career and technical education laboratories, and constructing an elementary gymnasium and additional classrooms. The stated average property-tax levy is $59 per $100,000 of assessed property value while bonds are outstanding, producing about $608,000 annually. Assessed value is not necessarily a home’s market value. The measure calls for annual audits and independent citizen oversight, with no bond funds used for ordinary staff salaries. California’s applicable school bond threshold is 55%.
How voters should interpret the count
The reported 683 valid Yes/No selections cover this specific ballot question, not the total number of residents registered throughout Tehama County or neighboring areas. Voters may skip individual questions, and school district boundaries often do not follow city boundaries. The current numerical leader does not establish that all eligible mail and provisional ballots have been counted or that a measure has been legally implemented.
Related local elections
In the wider county, Red Bluff Joint Union High School District’s separate Measure H has a preliminary No majority. Although both concern education, the two districts have different students, facilities, boundaries, bond amounts and electorates. A vote in one district does not determine the legal result in the other.
Counting, sources and certification
The Tehama County Elections Office maintains official candidate and ballot-measure materials and links to the election-results service. The public measure results and description supply the candidate-neutral Yes/No tally and measure text used in this article; the statewide local-measure index offers comparative context. California counties continue their legal canvass before certifying results, and a precinct reporting percentage is not the same as a finished ballot count. Readers should use an election-office timestamp when comparing later reports.
Source note: Tehama County election documents and publicly posted November 2026 local-measure tallies, reviewed November 6. The date is the article’s publication date, not a claim that the county issued new figures today. No endorsement of either ballot choice.
